The woman’s identity was soon revealed to the world – Sophie Shine and the duo has been spotted together at numerous events.

According to sources, Shikhar and Sophie’s met each other years back in Dubai. According to reports, both of them moved in to stay together, since the past year.
Who is Sophie Shine?
A deeper look into Sophie’s Instagram reveals that she was also present at Punjab Kings‘ IPL matches, when Shikhar was playing for the franchise.
She is an Irish product consultant with an impressive professional background. She holds a degree in Marketing and Management from the Limerick Institute of Technology and has previously studied at Castleroy College in Ireland. Currently, she serves as the Second Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Shikhar spills the beans!
When asked questions regarding his dating life at a conclave, ‘Gabbar’ as he called fondly by his fans, responded in his typical manner. “Yes, I have moved on,” Shikhar admitted. “I wouldn’t say I was unlucky in love—rather, my choices came from inexperience. But now, I have experience, and that will come in handy. It was a learning curve for me.”
When further pressed about his current love life, he responded playfully, “I am always in love!” And when asked directly about Sophie, he cheekily dodged the question: “See, I know how to dodge bouncers in cricket, and I know you’re throwing one at me now. But I won’t get caught. I will not take any name. But the most beautiful girl in the room is my girlfriend. Now you can figure it out.”

Shikhar’s past!
Meanwhile, Dhawan and his ex-wife Ayesha Mukherjee’s marriage ended in divorce in October 2023, with a Delhi court citing cruelty and mental agony inflicted on Dhawan by Mukherjee as grounds for the divorce. They have a son named Zoravar. Shikhar has publicly discussed on a few occasions how much he misses talking to his son, how he has had a painful separation with his little kid and how he manages the emotional challenges that come with it.
