One such funny incident has emerged on the internet wherein during a game of cricket between young kids, a run-out saw the opponents celebrate with a dance on the field.
The video looks like it is from an U-16 Inter-District Tournament Game in Himachal Pradesh.
Apparently, Vaibhav Sharma and Sameer Singh Chauhan two youngsters were batting together when the ball was played through the covers by the former and it resulted in an overthrow at the non-striker’s end.
The bowler failed to collect the ball, after the which the batsmen saw an opportunity for an extra-run. However, as they say, never run off a misfield.
The desire to steal an extra run resulted in a huge mix-up between the batters and the fielding team’s wicketkeeper collected the ball with both batsmen at the stranded on the non-striker’s end.
However, before dislodging the bails, the fielding team brought out the Bhangra, one by one and danced before the keeper finally removed the bails, running out the batsman.
The video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.
